I have installed a new iNews MOS Gateway but it won't start up. |

Here are some causes and cures for this condition. NB this information applies to iNEWS MOS Gateway versions prior to v3.1. Version 3.1 and later use a new licensing scheme - see here for details.

The MOS Gateway computer has a host name that is different from that used to generate the licence key |
Obtain a new licence key seeded from the true host name of the MOS Gateway computer |
The licence key has not been entered during the installation of the MOS Gateway software |
Re-install the MOS Gateway software, and enter the licence key when prompted |
The licence key has been entered using the MOS Gateway Licence Manager tool, after the main installation of the MOS Gateway software was done |
Using the MOS Gateway Licence Manager tool to install the licence key does not work. Re-install the MOS Gateway software, and enter the licence key when prompted |
