About Pro Tools M-Powered Software

• A qualified M-Audio hardware interface is required to use Pro Tools M-Powered software
• The M-Audio interface must be connected to your computer to use Pro Tools M-Powered software
• Pro Tools M-Powered supports the use of any single supported M-Audio peripheral. Simultaneous use of multiple M-Audio peripherals is not supported.
• Other audio interfaces from M-Audio have not been qualified with M-Powered
• Audio interfaces by Digidesign or any manufacturer other than M-Audio will not work with Pro Tools M-Powered software
• Pro Tools M-Powered software allows a maximum of 18 audio inputs and outputs, depending on your audio interface I/O capability

Authorization

• A pre-authorized cross-platform (Mac/Win) iLok USB hardware key is included with all new Pro Tools M-Powered software purchases (intial M-Powered purchase only; an iLok is not included with M-Powered upgrade purchases)
• Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.x requires a Pro Tools M-Powered 8 iLok authorization (previous licenses for Pro Tools M-Powered 6.8-7.4 will not authorize Pro Tools M-Powered 8, and the M-Powered 8 license will not authorize M-Powered 7.x versions).
• Any iLok can be used to store your Pro Tools M-Powered 8 upgrade authorization, including the iLok included with your original Pro Tools M-Powered purchase

Current Version
Pro Tools MP 9.0 is the newest version of what was previously Pro Tools M-Powered software. The last version of Pro Tools M-Powered software before Pro Tools MP 9.0 is Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.5 for Mac OS X 10.5/10.6 and Windows XP/Vista/7. For additional details, see the following: Please Note: Pro Tools 8.0.3 software (and higher) does not support some retired products, including:

Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Pro Tools software versions below 8.0.3 are Not Compatible with Snow Leopard. Pro Tools 8.0.3, 8.0.4, and 8.0.5 are free updates for all Pro Tools 8 owners.

Pro Tools 8.0.4 and 8.0.5 support the following Mac OS X versions, on Intel-based Macs only:

• Mac OS X 10.6.1 - 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
• Note: Pro Tools 8.0.4 not tested with 10.6.7 and higher

Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) Not Tested: 10.5.5 - 10.5.7 Pro Tools 8.0.3 supports the following Mac OS X versions, on Intel-based Macs only:

• Mac OS X 10.6.1 - 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard)
• Mac OS X 10.5.5 - 10.5.8 (Leopard)
• Not Tested: 10.6.3 and higher

Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

• Pro Tools M-Powered 7.4.2 or Pro Tools M-Powered 8 is required for Leopard
• Pro Tools 7.4.2 requires Mac OS X 10.5.3 or 10.5.4, and is not compatible with earlier versions of Leopard (not tested with 10.5.5 or higher)
• Pro Tools 8.0 requires Mac OS X 10.5.5, 10.5.6, 10.5.7, or 10.5.8, and is not compatible with earlier versions of Leopard.
