About the VPN Update for OS X Server
The VPN Update for OS X Server fixes an issue that could prevent L2TP VPN connections.
The VPN Update for OS X Server is available both as an automatic software update from the Mac App Store, and as a manual download from Apple Support Downloads.
If you have enabled the L2TP VPN service in OS X Server (Mavericks) and users are unable to connect, install the following updates on the server:
- The OS X Mavericks v10.9.1 Update
- The VPN Update for OS X Server
