iTunes Store charges on credit and debit card statements
This information may be useful if you see unfamiliar iTunes Store charges on your credit or debit card statement.
The credit or debit card statement you receive for your iTunes Store account can show any of these types of charges:
- iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store purchases
- Renewals of subscriptions, such as iTunes Match, or a recurring subscription to magazines, newspapers, or TV shows
- In-app purchases for additional content made within apps that you downloaded from the App Store or Mac App Store
- iCloud additional storage or annual renewals
- Purchases made by a significant other, a child in your household, a relative, or co-worker with access to your iTunes Store account (Apple ID)
- Another iTunes Store Account (Apple ID) in your household that may be linked to the same credit or debit account
- Allowances you've set up
- Charges for pre-ordered content that's now available
- Bank authorizations: Some institutions may show authorizations as charges or pending charges
- Charges from multiple purchases may be grouped together as one transaction
Contact Apple Support for any of the following reasons:
- You've reviewed your purchase history, and you're sure the charges aren't related to one of the above scenarios
- You have charges on your statement, and you don't have an iTunes Store account
