| The System 5 and System 5 Fusion consoles feature an RS422 control port to enable Machine Control over Digital Audio Workstations and other 3rd Party devices that accept RS422 control protocol with positional reference. Note: this RS422 requirement is seperate to any System 5 or System 5 Fusion EuCon control. EuCon does not provide traditional 'Double System' Transport Control or Synchronous positional operation between systems with seperate time lines. The RS422 option should be used in addition to EuCon for certain work flows e.g. those workflows where System 5 automation is being used in addition to the internal DAW automation.
