Artist Series - How do I get support for my product?

Technical Support

Obtaining technical support for Artist Series products varies by region. Please see below for information on how to get support for your product.

Technical support is only for technical problems with (Avid) products. Due to the high volume of calls and Avid's commitment to helping users as quickly as possible, we are unable to provide in-depth tutorial advice. Technical support for products that are not manufactured or distributed by Avid is not available. Please contact the company that makes that product for technical support with their products.

An Avid Support Code (ASC)* is required to contact Avid for technical support. After registering your product, you will receive an ASC which can be used online or via telephone. Artist Series telephone support is currently offered in English during US business hours, though telephone support in languages other than English may be provided by the authorized Avid distributor in each country. Click here for a list of contact numbers for each country. Existing customers can purchase ASC's from the Avid Store, though there are quite a few free support resources available.

You can contact Avid by phone or internet using your Avid Support Code to get assisted support.

 



Additional Support Resources

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base websites are a great, free, easily accessible way to find answers to the most common support questions. ASC’s are not required to access the Knowledge Base. This is a great first place to check for answers before you use your ASC to obtain assisted support.

Forums are a great place to get help directly from other users. Most common tech support issues have threads on the forums and the accumulated knowledge of all our users is an incredible resource at your disposal. No ASC’s are required to access the forums.

Product Registration

Customers can contact Avid for assistance with product registration. An Avid Support Code (ASC) is NOT required.

  • Select your Country from the menu on this page.
  • Click here to submit an online case.

 


Hardware Repairs (Return Authorization)


For Customers within the US

Customers in the US can contact Avid Audio to obtain a return authorization by calling and selecting the RMA/Repair Option. 
An Avid Support Code (ASC) is NOT required.
 

  • For US repairs, call 650-731-6100, and select the "repairs" option.
  • See additional contact information on this page.


For customers outside of the US:

  • If your product is under warranty, contact the store where the device was purchased for repair information
  • If your warranty has expired contact Avid Technical Support or an Authorized Repair Center in your region.


Note: For customers outside of the US that purchased their device from the US, please Avid Audio USA to obtain a return authorization; your device must be returned to the US for repair.
