Windows 10 OS Support for Avid Products
Microsoft has recently announced the upcoming release of Windows 10 on July 29, 2015. This is free upgrade available to all current Windows users (volume licensing customers will be able to download Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education on Volume Licensing Service Center starting August 1).
As of this time, Avid has not completed qualification of Windows 10 and strongly recommends customers DO NOT upgrade to this OS version until qualification is complete. There are also known issues with the current shipping versions of some of our products that will need to be addressed prior to qualification.

Identified Issue
- QuickTime 7 is not tested or qualified with Windows 10. Avid is investigating solutions to provide support for QuickTime workflows and functionality on Windows 10
